Our Inner West this weekend

The biggest annual festival of the Inner West is upon us and plenty more from Burwood to St Peters and in between.  This weekend, resting is not an option.

The Summer Design Pop Up hosted by Precinct 75: If you are after some amazing home-wares, check out Precinct 75 over the weekend where they will be hosting some of Australia’s best independent home-wares and fashion designers, street food, workshops and entertainment in a pop up market.

Outdoor Cinema Screening of the Goonies: Join me and the Urbane Property team this Saturday night at Camperdown Memorial Park and watch the Goonies on the big screen to kick off the Newtown Festival. The night is in support of our friends at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and all the work they do for our community.

$5 contribution at entry – all proceeds go directly to Newtown Neighbourhood Centre.  Bring a blanket and the family, the popcorn is on us.

Newtown Festival: It’s that time of year again, when one of our favourite festivals is on.  It’s the biggest annual fundraiser for Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and a day of music, art, food, markets, friends, family, dogs & fun.

There’s a huge line up so plan your day ahead and download the map and program here

When: Sunday 12th November – 9:30am to 5:30pm

Where: Camperdown Memorial Park (main entry gates via Lennox Street, with additional entry gates on Church Street and Australia Street).

Living Colour Plant Sale: For the plant enthusiasts or green thumb wannabes, this one is for you. The City Of Sydney’s annual plant sale is happening this Sunday where all those marigolds and petunias you’ve seen on show around the city are being given away for only a gold coin donation each (with proceeds going to the RSPCA).

When: Sunday 12th November

The Little School’s Big Christmas Fair: St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School in Summer Hill is hosting a Christmas Fair this Sunday.  Local businesses will be setting up stalls at the gift market and there will be plenty of fun for the kids (think jumping castle, giant slide and video game party bus to name a few).

When: Sunday 12 November, 11am-3pm

Greek Street Fair Burwood: is an annual, family friendly event celebrating Greek culture and heritage.  Enjoy Greek dancing performances, Greek music, Greek food and sweets, market stalls, competitions, activities for children and lots more.

When: Sunday 12 November from 11am to 4pm,
